Dr. Kristen Zeller recently retired from the Navy after 21 years of service. She is a graduate of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences on the Bethesda campus of the National Naval Medical Center. She trained at San Diego Naval Medical Center, and subsequently held staff and Department Head positions at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center and Guam Naval Hospital. In 2005, she was transferred to National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda. While at NNMC, she also became an Assistant Professor at USUHS, and directed the Ophthalmology Clerkship for medical students. In addition, she was active in Graduate Medical Education and taught Ophthalmology residents, as well as being involved in the training of Interns.
She has extensive experience in cataract and refractive surgery, including LASIK and PRK. She is also experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of ocular conditions, including diabetic eye disease and glaucoma. Dr. Zeller is available to your patients, and is also interested in building relationships with local providers via lectures and talks when the need arises.
